In high school, I designed syllabi during boring classes. Fifteen+ years later, I design syllabi–among other things–for a living. In the interim, I earned a BA in English from Columbia University, a Ph.D. in English from UCLA, and am currently earning my Ph.T. at Cornell Law. In my small moments of spare time, I like to read, create, exercise, and fold laundry. My writing has been published at the-toast.net, in Modern Philology, and anonymously in countless educational materials.

All day long I write what other people want me to write. (You can see my professional profile at LinkedIn.) This blog is a place for me.

Obviously, nothing reflects the views of my employers, and so forth.
